A vanity top is the countertop surface that sits on top of a bathroom vanity cabinet. Many Dreamwerks vanity tops are sold with an integrated sink/basin (like ceramic tops), while others are sold as standalone vanity tops in our Vanity Tops collection.
For most bathrooms, the most durable options are non-porous, easy-care surfaces like ceramic, solid-surface, or cultured marble. Dreamwerks carries vanities with ceramic vanity tops (common on many of our 24" vanities) and also options like cultured marble and marble, depending on the model.
- Size & fit: Measure your space and choose the right width/depth (Dreamwerks offers compact sizes like 24" and larger options).
- Top material: Ceramic vs cultured marble vs marble—pick based on durability, look, and maintenance.
- Storage & features: Look for details like soft-close doors/drawers and storage layout.
- Cabinet material/moisture resistance: Some Dreamwerks models use moisture-resistant materials (ex, Hi-Tek composite) designed for bathroom environments.
- Sink/faucet setup: Check if the top is integrated, and confirm faucet hole spacing / pre-drilled configuration.

- Seal where water can penetrate: silicone caulk around the backsplash, sink edge, and any countertop joints.
- Prevent standing water: wipe splashes quickly, use mats/trays under frequently wet items, and keep bathroom ventilation strong.
